The unit can be operated continuously from AC mains power using the 'battery eliminator' (part number 8406) included.

For easy transport in the pre-hospital EMS environment, as well as for intra- and inter-hospital patient transfer applications, a rechargable battery (part number 8408) & mains charger base (part number 8404A) may be a useful additional purchase.

There are three standard "packages" available for on-line purchase.... this package for mains use only, the 8400 "B" package for battery use only or the 8400 "DP" with both mains and battery power options.

Alternative custom combinations can be provided if required. Furthermore, SAC™ technology, digital signal processing pulse oximetry is available as an option, instead of traditional oximetry, at extra cost. Ref. No. = 8400D
