- Simply place the oximeter on the finger, press the "on" button and the high contrast OLED display shows the oxygen saturation and pulse rate readings.

- Press the button again to rotate the display through 180 degrees. A subsequent press rotates the display though 90 degress, then 180 degrees again, making it perfect for left handed or right handed users, whether self testing or testing a relative or patient.

- Pressing and holding the button adjusts the brightness of the display.

- Remove the finger and the oximeter switches off automatically to preserve battery life.

The MD 300 - C202 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter is an extremely lightweight and compact “all-in-one” device for measuring the oxygen saturation levels in the blood, the pulse rate and the pulse intensity.

It is a completely painless and non-invasive technique. The “sats” measurements are obtained by comparing the differing amounts of red and infrared light that are absorbed as light is shone through the fingertip.
