The PulseOx 6000^TM uses Reflective Pulse Oximetry (RPO) patented algorithyms to accurately and reliably measure blood oxygen saturation and heart rate, even on false nails or nail varnish wearing patients. The RPO is now enhanced with AUTOSPOT^TM technology to remove sensitivity to motion artifacts and low perfusion.

It's so simple to use. Just slip your finger into the universal size thimble and turn your hand palm upwards - a much more comfortable position for many people. Within seconds, the PulseOx 6000 automatically displays the readings on a bi-directional, well illuminated LCD panel, making it easy to read for both patients and medical professionals.

SPO Medical has designed and manufactured its products to be environmentally friendly by minimizing the operating power consumption by at least a factor of ten, hence greatly reducing the need to frequently replace batteries. The ¹/₂ AA size, 3.6V Lithium battery gives a continuous life of 500 hours! Replacement batteries can be purchased from us and the battery compartment is easily accessible without tools.

Unlike other oximeters that enclose the finger on both sides, the universal thimble size allows very large fingers to be comfortably and accurately tested, without them being squashed by tight sleeves or sprung hinge clips.

Similarly, the sleeve design performs better on children too. And if they have very small fingers, the sleeve is designed to work on the thumb instead.
