Welcome to our range of Reflectance Pulse Oximeters
Manufactured by SPO Medical Inc., these innovative devices use pulse reflectance technology for accurate measurement of blood oxygen saturation level (often referred to as "sats") and heart pulse rate.
Unlike traditional "transmission" oximeters, it is the red and infrared light reflected back from the underside of the fingertip that is measured, thus avoiding the nail area completely. This means that nail varnish and false nails have no effect on the accuracy of the measurements.
Not having to shine light all the way through the finger also requires far lower intensity light sources, providing unbeatable battery life.
