The new, compact and highly portable SpiroAnalyzer ST-75 is designed to meet the needs of physicians, occupational health clinics and hospitals. Using an accurate and reusable Flow Sensor, the ST-75 provides instant and comprehensive PFT reports, which are displayed on the LCD screen and may be printed out on the ultra-quiet, built-in thermal printer.
Offering the user a choice of predicted normal equations and clinical intrepretations, the device performs complete PFT tests including FVC, FEV1% T or G, VC, MVV, pre- and post-bronchodilator and bronchial challenge tests.
Up to 150 complete PFT tests can be stored in the unit's "non-volatile" memory and output via the RS-232 port into any IBM compatible computer. The optional Windows™ based data management software facilitates downloading of PFT results and allows permanent storage, serial comparison and detailed visual inspection. Additional features include automatic or manual selection of a patient's best effort, automatic calibration and a choice of languages.
ST-75 can be powered via the AC adaptor as well as from the internal rechargeable batteries, for maximum portability. An optional protective carrying case is available, which can also provide storage for the optional 1 litre calibration syringe (see illustration).
